About the Role

Diverse, engaging content is at the core of inquirED’s approach to high-quality instruction. The inquiry-based learning experiences we design are centered on sources that students investigate and explore with support from their teachers. Students must be able to see their own lived and historical experiences in this content. And teachers must be able to activate it to help students build the media literacy and critical thinking skills that will prepare them for civic life. As Director of Content Acquisition, you’ll be responsible for securing licensing partnerships with high quality content providers for our inquiry-based curriculum.

Working cross-functionally with our Learning Experience, Content Operations, and Engineering teams, you'll envision how inquirED sources diverse content for our instructional materials. You’ll be responsible for both identifying and licensing diverse, high-quality educational content to ensure that our curriculum team has a wealth of sources available as they build inquiry-based learning experiences. You’ll also work with our Content Operations and Engineering team to build systems to monitor licensing processes and work to organize a myriad of sources into a single source of truth. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with deep content acquisition experience to build a strategy from the ground up.
